“Remember who He Says that you Are”
In a world of look at me look at me look at me and be this and be that it is easy to forget who you really are and whose you really are. Its time to shut out the noise and get into agreement in God. Who He says in His word in the Bible. It is about who He says you are not a pastor, not a preacher, not a friend. You have to be so sure in God that no person can sway you in a direction the Holy Spirit never said you should go. Never go in that direction. Always know the word of God for yourself. Never turn to a friend, parent, grandparent for what you should know for yourself! Get into who God says that you are. If you feel new to the word, google topic in the Bible, them go and research the word for yourself. Learn from the past. Have you ever been in a relationship or situation where you want an answer really bad? You go to the first person in your phone. Or the next person if they are not available. This person used to be me! I never went to My Father in heaven, first. I never went to Him with situations first. A part of me did not want to hear what I knew was the truth. I was obsessed with hearing what I wanted to hear and hear that only. I knew God was leading me closer to Him, but I rejected it. In this season I suffered severe anxiety, panic, lack of peace and sleep. I was running away from God, and I did nothing about it. Until I found myself in a place of desperation. I put down who I was seeing that was not of Him, and I started to put prayer as first. I began to read the word again, understand Gods voice over MY life instead of looking at others. I began to truly seek His face and listen to what He said about me. This was a 10-year transformation, and I will never forget when I made the decision to put Jesus first in my life. My life is so healthy and good now with God as first and refreshing. The painful part, the relationships that have fallen out because of me walking in the Truth. But I made and have to continue to make a decision, to keep God first. He changed how I saw myself, gave me words to speak over my life and in ways to love and bless me. He showed me who was never for me, and how blind I was to people who were “around” but not in my corner. I trusted them with my heart and they never had my best interest at heart. As I have grown and matured and listened to Gods word over my life my purity has become more and more developed in him. Life has not been by any means perfect, just more refreshing and managable with Jesus on my side.
